I was a Major League
Baseball Umpire for 26 years. I was a
contributing member of whatever community I
lived in. I take my life seriously, and
lived my profession seriously with honor and
integrity, but I made a mistake. I ended my
career, and not the way I wanted. I never
expected in my wildest dreams to ever be in
the justice system and certainly not
incarcerated in the federal prison system.
So many highs and things to be proud of, so
many lows, and things of questionable
judgment. I've now lived both ends of the
spectrum. From World Series highs, to flat
out psychological lows, and most everywhere
in between. My experiences can help you.
Allow me to help you. I know about helping
and being of service. I volunteered in my
community as an ambulance driver for three
off-seasons. I've worked in public relations
for major corporations all over the country.
I've been involved in public speaking for
many years, both motivational and anecdotal.
I've been a positive influence to youngsters
for many decades. And now I want to use this
negative experience to help others
understand their experience and make it as
peaceful as possible. A most difficult
situation for sure, but one that can be
calmed to some extent with a little
knowledge going in.
